Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
  Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and isolated embedded thunderstorms will continue through
late evening to the southeast of a Pontiac to Gary line, with
thunderstorms limited to northwest Indiana. Slow movement of
showers may produce localized flooding if training occurs where
heavy rainfall fell yesterday. Showers should gradually diminish
overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thursday through Monday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms through this evening may produce heavy rain
leading to localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There will be periodic chances for thunderstorms late in the
upcoming week and possibly though the weekend. The probability of
organized severe weather is low, but locally heavy rain is a concern,
especially Thursday and Friday.

Flooding will continue on portions of the Illinois River for the
next several days. Look for rises on area rivers and streams due to
runoff from additional rainfall this week.

Widespread showers and a few thunderstorms are expected through
tonight. The primary threats will be lightning and locally heavy
rainfall, with slow storm motions contributing to a flash flood
threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue through
Wednesday. Chances for thunderstorms will return late Thursday
into Friday. No severe weather is expected at this time but
lightning and locally heavy rainfall will accompany storms.
